Absolute Lotus Highland Tour

First run in 2021, our own Absolute Lotus Highland Tour has become one of he highlights of our year. Run in collaboration with Classic Car Tours, the Highland Tour takes in some of Scotland’s best driving roads ideal of exercising Lotuses of any age. The package includes three- and four-star accommodation, great food and visits to the Jim Clark Museum and a distillery tour. More details here.
Ypres Lotus Day

The Ypres Lotus Day celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. This well established event gives owners the chance to explore the countryside around the historic town among like-minded enthusiasts. The entry fee includes breakfast, lunch, drinks and a road book, and there’s an optional dinner at the end of the day. Full details on 2025’s event are here.

Classic Team Lotus Garden Party
East Carleton Manor, Norfolk
Saturday 14 June
Now in its third year, the Classic Team Lotus Garden Party has become a must-attend event for Lotus enthusiasts. Held at East Carleton Manor, the former home of Colin and Hazel Chapman it brings together an incredible array of Lotus road and race cars. For 2025, the event will celebrate 75 years of the Formule One World Championship and the 50th anniversary of the Esprit with Giorgetto Giugiaro as a special guest. The Lotus Historic Register Germany is organising a meeting for Europa owners. Taking place in Oberpfelz, it will provide scenic driving routes alongside the opportunity to meet fellow owners. More details are available from the club.
Historic Lotus Register Summer Gathering and Picnic

Sunday 22 June
Now in its third year, the Historic Lotus Register Summer Gathering and Picnic is laid back event hosted by Richard Hinton. It takes place in a lakeside venue in Hertfordshire (close to Stansted Airport). It’s open to Lotus models of all ages. To be on the guestlist, email Richard with the model of car you’ll be bringing and where you’ll be coming from, and joining instructions will be sent to you neaer to the event.
Jim Clark Celebration Weekend
Duns Castle
Saturday 28 June to Sunday 29 June
The Jim Clark Trust is hosting the Jim Clark Celebration this summer, marking the 60th anniversary of is Formula One World Championship win and his victory at the Indianapolis 500. The event will feature a host of Clark’s racing cars, with live demonstrations on the driveway at Duns Castle. Gates will be open from 10am to 4pm and tickets booked in advance cost just £12.50. Lotus in the Peak
Peak District
Sunday 29 June
This annual shindig in the Peak District by the Midlands Lotus Owners’ Club. The day starts with an optional run through region’s best drivers’ roads, culminating in a huge gathering of Lotus owners. Picnics and raffles help raise money for the Rainbows Hospice. The precise details and venue are yet to be confirmed, but the date has been set. We’ll update this page when we know more, or you can follow the event page on Facebook.
Lotus Carlton Anniversary
Hethel, Norfolk

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Lotus Carlton and Omega, owners and enthusiasts Paul Rees and Julian Burton are organising what it hoped to be the largest ever gathering of the model. The event will take place at the Lotus factory at Hethel, and access will only be granted to those who are driving or a passenger in a Lotus Carlton or Omega (passes will be handed out at the rendezvous point, the Bird in Hand pub in Wreningham). Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
Friday 5 to Sunday 7 September
The biggest annual Lotus gathering in the United States takes place this year in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 44th running of the Lotus Owners’ Gathering will celebrate three anniversaries: 30 years of the Elise, 50 years of the Esprit and 60 years since Jim Clark won the Indy 500 and took the World Championship title. Day one will be a meet and greet and an impromptu Lotus show in the secure parking. On the Saturday, there will be a concours and parade lap of Pittsburgh International Race Circuit, with optional activities including autocross, karting and tech talks. The day rounds out with a banquet. For those staying until the Sunday, tours of the local roads will be available (either guided or self-guided) and there will be the option to take part in a track event. Esprit d’Adventure
Reims, France
Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 September
Esprit d’Adventure is an annual event run by Club Lotus France. For 2025, the event will be open to non-CLF members for the first time to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Esprit. Based at a four-star hotel near Reims, the event includes daily drives out to places of interest with groups split between driving styles. The visits will also include groups of French and English speakers. Participants can also choose between three-day, three-night and two-day, two-night options.
